Disconnect Stripe, close your account, or both. Here's the flow and what happens to your athletes when you do.
Settings » Payouts » Disconnect Stripe
From your coach dashboard, go to Settings » Payouts. Hit "Disconnect Stripe." A confirmation dialog explains what happens next.
When you disconnect Stripe:
- Future athlete payments stop running through this account.
- Your active athletes' subscriptions pause until you reconnect Stripe (or close your account).
- Your Stripe payout history stays inside your Stripe dashboard. We don't delete it.
- Your Marrow account stays open. You can still log in, write programs, and message athletes. You just can't accept new payments until Stripe is reconnected.
To reconnect later, go to Settings » Payouts and run the Stripe Connect onboarding again.
Settings » Account » Close my account
From your coach dashboard, go to Settings » Account. Scroll to the bottom. Hit "Close my account." The flow asks you a couple of questions before confirming. We'd rather understand why you're leaving than not, but the questions are optional.
When you close your account:
- Your athletes get a 30 day notice that their coach is leaving Marrow. Their subscriptions cancel at the end of the current billing period.
- You can send each athlete a personal note from the close flow. We recommend it.
- Your programs, athlete data, and history stay accessible for 90 days while you decide whether to export or delete.
- Your public coach profile is taken offline. Search engines re index over the following weeks.
- You can re open your account within 90 days with everything intact. After 90 days, the data is permanently deleted.
Settings » Account » Export my data
Before closing, you can export everything. Hit "Export my data" in Settings » Account. Marrow generates a ZIP with your programs, athlete records, training history, and messages in standard formats. We email you a download link when it's ready, usually within an hour.
The export is yours. You can keep it for your records, or use it to bring your data to another platform.
Tell us where you're going
If you're moving your practice elsewhere, drop a note to edwin@marrowfitness.com. We'd rather lose well than poorly. If something about Marrow drove the decision, we want to know.
