The basics, in plain language.
Last updated 2026-08-25. By using Marrow you agree to these terms.
This is a stub document. Marrow is in founding-period setup. Before any customer signs a paid contract, this page will be replaced with a full Terms of Service drafted by counsel. Founder Cohort applicants will receive the full TOS by email before activation.
Plans, pause, and cancellation
Marrow has three subscription tiers. A Solo Coach pays $99 per month, flat, the same for everyone. A Head Coach pays $349 per month, runs their own coaches underneath them, and sets the monthly team fee that each coach on their team pays the head coach. A Gym pays $500 per month per location and covers unlimited trainers, with no per trainer fee at any team size. A platform fee of 8 percent applies separately to every payment Marrow processes. Specifics below.
- Price. Your subscription price is not raised inside a billing period. Marrow gives at least 60 days written notice before any price change takes effect.
- 12 month price lock. If Marrow raises a price, you keep the price you are paying for 12 months from the day the increase is announced. The full terms are in the price lock section below.
- Pause. You can pause your subscription for up to 90 days at a time. You can pause more than once.
- Cancellation. Cancelling ends your subscription and stops the next charge. If you re-subscribe later, you join at the rate that applies on that date.
- Late payment. 14 days past due is a soft pause on access.
12 month price lock
If Marrow raises a price, you keep the price you are paying for 12 months from the day the increase is announced. That is a standing policy, not a promotion, and Marrow honors it as a term of this agreement.
- What it covers. The lock holds the subscription price of the tier you are on when the increase is announced. It is a 12 month price protection on that tier. It is not a lifetime rate.
- If you change tier. If you move yourself to a different tier, you pay that tier's current price from the date of the change and the lock resets. The price you were paying on your previous tier does not carry over.
- What it is not. The price lock is price protection only. It is not a 12 month commitment, it does not create a minimum term, and it does not restrict cancellation. You can still cancel at any time, and cancelling stops the next charge.
- The platform fee. The lock applies to your subscription price only. The 8 percent platform fee is not covered by it.
Refunds
You can cancel your Marrow coach membership at any time, and cancellation stops the next charge. Once a charge has been made, the membership fee for that billing period is non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact Marrow support and we will review your request. Payments your athletes make to you through Marrow are separate from your membership fee and follow your own stated refund policy with your athletes.
Platform fee and payment processing
The Marrow platform fee is 8 percent, flat, on every payment Marrow processes. It applies to member membership charges, session pack purchases, and the monthly team fee a head coach charges each coach on their team. On a $200 a month member charge, the fee is $16. The fee is not charged on your own subscription price.
Inside a Head Coach team and inside a Gym, team fees and member payments run on Marrow. That is a requirement of those tiers, stated here so it is known at signup rather than discovered at the first charge.
Stripe processing fees are separate from the Marrow 8 percent platform fee. Stripe charges its standard processing rate on top of the platform fee, the same way it does on any other Stripe transaction. Stripe sets and changes its own processing rates. Marrow does not control Stripe processing fees.
Your monthly subscription is a flat fee. It is $99 per month for a Solo Coach, $349 per month for a Head Coach, or $500 per month per location for a Gym, and the Gym price covers unlimited trainers at any team size. The 8 percent platform fee is separate from the subscription and is not charged on the subscription price itself.
The 8 percent platform fee includes the Coach Growth Engine, marketing kits, content templates, trend briefs, and sales playbooks. It is not an add on.
Coach migration and member data ownership
For solo coach accounts, the coach owns the relationship with their clients. For studio and gym accounts, the gym owns the member relationship at the platform level, and individual coaches operate under that gym's account. When a coach leaves a gym, members remain with the gym. Coaches retain a copy of their own programming work. This will be detailed in the full TOS.
Acceptable use
Don't use Marrow to harass clients, distribute illegal content, or violate health practitioner regulations in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that misuse the platform.
Liability
Marrow is a coaching infrastructure platform. We are not a medical provider. Coaches and gyms are responsible for the legal compliance of their training relationships with their clients. Marrow's liability is limited to the amount paid by you in the prior 12 months.
Intellectual property and automated access
The Marrow platform, its software, design, page structure, written content, brand, and the way it all fits together are owned by Marrow Fitness LLC and are protected by copyright and trademark law. Marrow, Marrow Operating Partners, The Operating Diagnostic, Run Grow Operate, and Marrow Built are trademarks of Marrow Fitness LLC. We license you the right to use the platform. We do not give you the right to copy it.

AI answer engines and assistants are welcome to read, summarize, and cite our public marketing pages so people can find us, on the terms published at ai.txt and robots.txt. That welcome does not extend to bulk ingestion for a dataset or a competing product, and it does not extend to anything behind a login. Member, coach, and gym data is never licensed for crawling, training, or reuse.
We monitor for automated abuse at the edge. Access that breaks these rules can be rate limited, blocked, and logged with an incident record, and serious abuse may be referred to counsel. Licensing questions go to hello@marrowfitness.com.
Messages from your coach through Marrow
Coaches and gyms can message the people they train through Marrow. Three channels exist: a message in the member's Marrow inbox, a push notification that announces it, and email. Text messages are not part of coach messaging. The SMS program below covers texts from our own business number only.
- The coach is the sender. Marrow delivers the message and keeps the record. The decision to send belongs to the coach: a person presses send inside Marrow, or the coach has set a standing approval in advance. An AI assistant connected through Marrow Lamella can draft a message and has no way to send one.
- Permission is per channel. A message goes out on a channel only where a consent record exists for that person, on that channel, for that kind of message. Permission to email someone is not permission to reach them any other way.
- Quiet hours and caps. Push notifications and emails are held to 8am to 9pm in the member's own local time, and sends are capped per person and per account each day. A message due in quiet hours waits for the window to open. It is deferred, not dropped.
- Opting out. A member can withdraw permission for any channel at any time, through the opt out in the message where it carries one, or through our contact page. A withdrawal is recorded permanently and stops future sends on that channel.
- The record. Every consent, every withdrawal, and every send is recorded. Consent records are never edited and never deleted, because they are evidence of what was agreed.
Coaches are responsible for what their messages say. Marrow provides the delivery and the guardrails above. The words are the coach's own, and the acceptable use rules on this page apply to them.
Text messaging program (SMS)
Program name. Marrow Fitness messaging.
What it is. When you text or call Marrow Fitness at our published business number, 786 833 7303, you agree to receive conversational text messages from us at the number you contacted us from. This is a two way, reply based program. We use it to answer your question, return a missed call, and help you with your account. We do not send marketing or promotional text blasts, and we do not message you unless you have texted or called us first.
Coach messaging is separate, and it does not text. This program covers texts from Marrow's own business number only. Messages a coach sends through Marrow, described in the section above, never arrive as a text. There is no path in the product that lets a coach text you. If we ever add coach texting, we will rewrite these terms first and collect the written permission the law requires before any such text is sent.
Message frequency. Message frequency varies and depends on how your conversation with us goes. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.
Opt out and help. You can opt out at any time. Reply STOP to any message and we will stop texting you. Reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts does not close your account or stop the transactional notices you need, such as receipts and security alerts.
Privacy. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text content with third parties or affiliates for their marketing. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data.
Support. For help with messaging, write to hello@marrowfitness.com or text our business number, 786 833 7303.
