Switching coaches takes an invite from the coach you are moving to. The important thing to understand before you start: moving your coaching and moving your payment are two separate steps. Until you do the second one, you are still paying your old coach.

Step 1

Get an invite from your new coach

You cannot move yourself to a coach who has not invited you. Ask the coach you want to train with for an invite link or code.

It has to go to the same email you already use for Marrow. If they send it to a different address it will be refused, which is deliberate. It is what stops somebody else moving your account.

Step 2

Paste it into your membership page

Open Membership from your dashboard menu. Find the Switch coach section.

  1. Paste the invite link or code into the field.
  2. Hit Review the switch.
  3. Check that the coach shown is the one you mean, then confirm.

Your coaching moves right away. Your new coach can see you and start programming for you.

Step 3

Move the payment, this is the part people miss

Your payment does not follow you automatically. Each coach is paid on their own account, so there is no way for us to quietly move a live subscription from one to the other.

Until you move it, your money is still going to the coach you just left.

So after the switch, open Manage billing on the same Membership page, and cancel the old plan. Then set up the new one with your new coach.

The order

Cancel first, then start the new plan

You cannot hold two live coaching plans at once. If you try to start the new one before the old one has finished, you will be stopped with a message telling you to deal with the existing plan first.

That block is there to protect you. Without it you could end up charged twice a month with no easy way to unwind it.

So the sequence is: switch the coaching, cancel the old plan, let the period you already paid for run out, then start with your new coach.

In the meantime

You keep training

Cancelling the old plan does not cut you off that day. You keep your access until the end of the period you have already paid for.

Your history, your logged sessions, and your progress stay with you through all of it. Switching coaches does not wipe your training record.

If the timing is awkward If you are mid-period and the two coaches are working it out between them, message us and say what you are trying to do. We would rather help you land it cleanly than have you double-billed.
