The Marrow community is a private space for verified coaches and athletes. Here's where it lives, who can post, and how moderation works.
Inside Marrow, under /community
The community sits at marrowfitness.com/community for the public view, and inside your dashboard for the verified member view. Anyone can read the public side. Posting and replying is for verified members.
Verified coaches, athletes, and gym owners
Posting requires verification. Verification means:
- Coaches. You have an active Marrow coach account and at least one valid credential on file.
- Athletes. You have an active subscription with a coach on Marrow.
- Gym owners. You have an active gym account with at least one verified coach attached.
Verification is automatic. The moment your account is in good standing, you can post. No application step.
Coaching, programming, recovery, business, events
The community has channels for the things coaches actually talk about. Programming questions, recovery and wearable data interpretation, business and pricing, events, and a freeform "Coffee" channel for general chat. Athletes have their own channels focused on their training experience.
We don't run a "promote your stuff" channel. Self promotion belongs on your public coach profile and storefront, not inside the community feed.
What gets removed and why
The community is moderated, not policed. The policy is short:
- No personal attacks. Disagreeing about programming is fine. Calling another member names is not.
- No medical advice. "Train through this pain" type posts get removed. Refer the athlete to their medical professional.
- No commercial spam. Sharing a tool you actually use is fine. Promoting your own paid course unsolicited is not.
- No platform bashing. Critique other platforms thoughtfully if it helps a member. Don't pile on for sport.
- No private information. Don't post screenshots that reveal another member's name, photo, or data without their consent.
Posts that violate policy are removed by automated detection plus a human review. Repeat violations result in a temporary suspension, then a permanent one if the pattern continues. You can appeal a removal by emailing edwin@marrowfitness.com.
Hit the three dot menu » Report
Every post has a "Report" option in the menu. Pick the reason. The report goes into a queue we review as soon as we can. We don't share the identity of the reporter with the reported member.
For coaches and instructors hosting events
If you host a regular class, retreat, or event inside the community, apply for the verified host badge at /community/host. The badge appears next to your name and gives you the ability to publish event listings to the community events channel.
