Export TrueCoach data, map fields, and bring your athletes and programs to Marrow in one pass.

Step 1

Export from TrueCoach

Sign in to TrueCoach as the head coach. Go to Settings » Account » Export Data. Select clients, workouts, and exercise library. TrueCoach generates a ZIP file with CSVs inside.

If you have multiple coaches under one TrueCoach account, the export includes all of them. You can pick which coach's data to bring over inside the Marrow migration tool.

Open Marrow's TrueCoach migration tool

Coach dashboard » Settings » Migrations » TrueCoach. Drop the ZIP into the upload zone. Marrow parses the file and shows you a preview of what will import.

Step 3

Map your fields

TrueCoach's structure maps cleanly to Marrow's:

  • TrueCoach clients become Marrow athletes.
  • TrueCoach workouts become Marrow sessions.
  • TrueCoach exercise library entries become Marrow custom movements (if not already in our library).
  • TrueCoach metrics (weight, body measurements) become Marrow check in entries on each athlete.

The mapping screen shows each field and lets you adjust. Most coaches don't need to change anything; the defaults work.

Step 4

Run the import

Hit "Import." Most TrueCoach accounts finish in a few minutes. We'll email you when it's done. Athletes get a magic link to their new Marrow account and a clean onboarding ("Your coach moved to Marrow").

Step 5

Verify and announce

Spot check a few athletes. Confirm their history and current program show up. Then send a message in your athlete community (or by email) telling everyone the move is complete and the new app is the one to use.
