What it really costs to run
- Published plan fee
- $137
- Separate payment processor
- $116
- Total monthly cost
- $253
- TrueCoach prices by client count, so the plan fee climbs as your roster grows and does not fall on a slow month.
Most coaching apps price by the client seat, so the bill reads the same in a strong month and a slow one. Marrow is built the other way around. You start small, so your price starts small. The 8 percent moves with what you actually collect.
Two ways to price a coaching platform
This is the real difference, and it is the one the price tables never show you. It is not a few dollars on a feature line. It is the whole shape of the deal.
The seat-fee model
Most platforms bill by how many client seats you carry, and some bill one flat rate no matter the roster. Either way the number never looks at what you collected. The same bill lands in your best month and your slowest. The platform gets paid first, and gets paid the same.
And the advertised price is the platform fee only. To actually collect money from clients, the coach still pays a separate payment processor, around 2.9 percent plus 30 cents per charge, on top of that flat fee.
Marrow
$99 a month flat, with your own branded app included. Then 8 percent of every payment Marrow processes for you. A starting coach pays close to nothing extra. A busy coach pays more because the business is bigger. Marrow earns when you earn.
That 8 percent replaces your separate payment processor. It is not stacked on top of one. It also includes the Coach Growth Engine: marketing kits, ad copy, sales support, and trend briefs, included with the 8 percent.
Run your own numbers
Move the sliders to match your business. The math updates live. No login, no email, no funnel. And if your current platform is the better deal for you right now, the simulator will say so in plain words.

The math, at every stage
A single price tag hides the whole story, because the story is what happens over time. Here is the honest all-in monthly cost at three stages of a coaching business. Each competitor figure is the cheapest plan that vendor publishes for that roster size, taken from its own live pricing page, plus a separate payment processor at roughly 2.9 percent plus 30 cents per charge, the real cost of collecting money. Marrow is the $99 flat base plus the 8 percent, with no separate processor. One note on fairness: the Marrow $99 includes your branded member app, and on some of these platforms a branded app is a paid extra. Those add-on prices are quoted in the sources below.

Read this carefully
Here is the honest part, stated plainly. At a full roster of high-paying clients, a low flat-fee platform plus a processor can total less than Marrow's 8 percent. The simulator above will tell you exactly when that happens for your numbers. Two things stay true. The $99 flat never moves, at any roster size, with the branded app included. And the 8 percent buys a team, not just software. If the all-in cost is your only question, run your numbers and decide. If you want the price to be gentle while you are small, Marrow is built for that.
Beyond the price tag
The 8 percent does three jobs at once. It is not money leaving the business. It is money buying the business the Coach Growth Engine.
It replaces a cost
On most platforms the advertised price is the software only. To collect money, the coach pays a payment processor around 2.9 percent plus 30 cents per charge, separately. On Marrow, the 8 percent stands in for that. It is not stacked on top of it.
It buys the growth engine
The 8 percent includes marketing kits, ad copy, sales support, and trend briefs. The other platforms sell you software and leave the marketing to you.
It aligns the incentive
A flat fee gets paid the same in your worst month. The 8 percent only grows when your revenue grows. Your slow months are our slow months. That is the whole idea.
Educational comparison. Every competitor figure on this page was read off that vendor's own live public pricing page on 31 July 2026, and the plan names and price strings are quoted above.
